Break the Bias: Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow

NGX Group of Companies is set to host its 2022 International Women’s Day virtual symposium and “Ring the Bell for gender equality” in partnership with International Finance Corporation (IFC), Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative, United Nations (UN) Women, UN Global Compact, and World Federation of Exchanges (WFE).

The webinar builds on the global theme, #BreakTheBias, and leverages the partnership between NGX and IFC to highlight progress made in reducing the gender gap through the Nigeria2Equal Programme. Nigeria2Equal is the first multi-stakeholder country program aiming to reduce gender gaps across employment and entrepreneurship in Nigeria’s private sector. Nigeria2Equal brings leading companies together to make specific, measurable, and time-bound commitments to increase women’s participation in Nigeria’s private sector as leaders, employees, and as entrepreneurs in the corporate value chain.
