NGX Invest is an electronic platform designed to facilitate public offers and rights issues, making it easier for investors to participate in these investment opportunities.

To create an account, visit www.invest.ngxgroup.com click the signup button, and fill in your first and last name, phone number, email address, and password. Approve the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, then click “Get started” to proceed. An OTP will be sent to your email for verification. Once verified, fill in your BVN and date of birth, and another OTP will be sent to your phone number. After this verification, you can complete your profile by filling in your CHN or CSCS account number (or skip this step if you are a new investor).

A CHN (Clearing House Number) or CSCS (Central Securities Clearing System) account number is a unique identifier assigned to investors in the Nigerian capital market. These account numbers are used to record and track securities transactions and holdings.

If you cannot remember your CHN and/or CSCS number during registration, you can click “skip this” to continue and complete your profile later.

To subscribe to a public offer, log into your NGX Invest account, browse the available offers, and click on the public offer you are interested in. Select your preferred broker, input the number of shares you’d like to subscribe to, accept the shelf prospectus pricing supplement and term sheet, then click on the “Buy Now” button to proceed. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your preferred payment option and complete your transaction.

To subscribe to a rights issue, log into your NGX Invest account, go to your dashboard, and click “View Offer Details” on the rights issue of interest. Select the option to either input your CHN or RIN, enter your CHN or RIN, select a commission receiver, and input the number of units you’d like to purchase. Ensure you accept the shelf prospectus pricing supplement and term sheet, then click “Buy Now.” Follow the on-screen instructions and select your preferred payment option to complete your transaction.

Once logged in, navigate to the “Offers” section, select the public offer or rights issue you are interested in, and follow the instructions to complete your investment.

If you subscribe to less than your allotment, a prompt will ask, “Would you like to trade your rights issue?” Your selection will be automatically sent to your broker for processing.
